Steven Gätjen (52) is set to become the quizmaster for Amazon’s streaming platform Prime Video. He will be hosting the new exclusive series titled "Yes or No Games." Production of the show has commenced, according to an announcement from the streaming service. This format is slated to debut during the winter of 2025-26.
The Idea of "Yes or No Games"
The "Yes or No Games" combines elements of a quiz with those of a game show. Host Gätjen assists 160 participants as they strive to claim the top prize of €100,000. Nevertheless, this substantial sum will ultimately be awarded to just one individual.
A key element of this show is the "Magic Cube," a play space enclosed by 4-meter-tall LED walls. These walls utilize augmented and virtual reality technologies to construct various environments like “the Moon” or “the Bloodstream.” Participants will also experience being transported back to ancient Rome within these digital realms. Contestants have to solve riddles and overcome obstacles inside these themed areas. After every segment, host Steven Gätjen poses a yes-or-no question for them to answer.
