The Superman The sneak preview begins with a dramatic scene where a tranquil Arctic setting is disrupted when the Man of Steel makes an emergency touchdown in the desolate area. It’s evident that he has been engaged in combat; he bears visible injuries such as cuts, bruises, and difficulty breathing. Despite his agony, he whistles loudly to get attention. Superman's canine companion Krypto , leading the enthusiastic puppy to rush over. Krypto shows up, ready to play with the injured Superman, but as soon as he notices that Clark requires assistance, Krypto takes hold of Superman's cape and starts to carry him back home. .

Krypto drags Superman through the Arctic just as a series of giant crystal structures begin to pop up from the ground. The Fortress of Solitude Takes form and Krypto leads Superman directly to the entrance, unlocking the massive, crystal lair with a bark. Upon entering, Krypto guides Superman into an area where they meet the personnel from the Fortress of Solitude: the Superman Robots. Under the command of Superman Robot #4, a group of mechanical units gather around Clark and escort him further inside. Superman expresses gratitude towards his robotic squad. However, point number four cheerfully states it’s their responsibility as they introduce Superman to the newest member, number twelve. .
The Superman robots gently place Superman on the ground and assess his wounds, finding that he has 14 broken bones along with harm to his bladder, kidneys, large intestines, and lungs. Even though Clark’s conditions are severe, robot number four concludes that what the superhero requires is merely an ample amount of yellow solar radiation. They rotate the Fortress of Solitude towards the sun and prepare a mechanism designed to amplify the sun's rays. Prepared to bombard Clark with powerful sunlight—measured at “292 times Sahara Prime” as stated by robot number four—they proceed. Clark Is No Rookie When It Comes to Collaborating With Robotic Companions
Enthusiasts familiar with Superman’s backstory might be aware that Clark has utilized robotic helpers within the Fortress of Solitude before. Back during the Silver Age of comic books, Superman was known to have several robot duplicates that resembled him and shared some of his abilities. The primary purpose of these robots was to aid Superman in maintaining his secret identity; however, they also assisted him from time to time on particular assignments. The use of Superman robots was mostly discontinued in the Post-Crisis version of the DC Universe. even though they sometimes make cameo appearances for a joke from time to time.

Although the Superman robots were largely phased out of the storyline, Clark still had a mechanical companion named Kelex. In recent times, DC Comics has adopted a broader stance towards their official storyline (canon), embracing almost anything from past narratives without hesitation. This openness provides opportunities for contemporary artists to reintroduce classic elements. James Gunn clearly appreciates concepts such as the Superman robots, and imagining how today’s comic book makers might revamp these characters presents an exciting prospect. Maybe Kelex could produce updated versions of the Superman robots, or perhaps there will be some conflict regarding which robotic assistants Superman favors most. Regardless, this opens up numerous intriguing possibilities. If Gunn is open to using the Superman robots, then the comics should follow suit as well. .
It's time to reintroduce the Superman robots.

It's not uncommon to see comic universes make small adjustments to make things a little bit more like they are in the movies. While Superman's lore shouldn't be completely overhauled, if these robots prove to be a hit with audiences (and let's face it, having #4 voiced by Alan Tudyk won't hurt those chances), then DC Comics should bring the Superman Robots back into canon full-time. The Fortress of Solitude can be a pretty empty place most of the time, and having these charming automatons return to keep it running would be a real treat for Superman fans.
