On Wednesday, authorities are investigating a deadly car accident that occurred in Pinal County, located west of Florence.
The Pinal County Sheriff's Office said a motorcycle collided with an SUV on State Route 287, resulting in the motorcyclist sustaining fatal injuries.
The PCSO stated that access to SR-287 is limited because of the fatal crash, and traffic is being redirected at Adamsville Road as an alternative route.
The PCSO stated that motorists may face delays because of the accident as well as the significant amount of traffic anticipated heading towards Florence for the forthcoming Country Thunder festival.
