Why we care. Discover can significantly boost traffic for news outlets, but currently, it mainly appears on mobile devices when using Google's mobile applications or navigating to Google’s mobile homepage.
When it comes to Google’s homepage for desktop, this could potentially double the visibility compared to Google Discover traffic for content creators. This significant boost would particularly benefit those publishers who usually receive substantial traffic through Discover.
