Exhibition Honors the Spirit of the Commonwealth Games

After three years from when Birmingham held the Commonwealth Games, an engaging fairytale-like installation has been set up to revitalize the memory of those games.

By 2022, the legacy charity of the Games will present The Next Chapter at New Street Station from Wednesday through Friday.

Maureen Levermore, highlighted among the 50 leading ladies of the ball chain movement in the opening ceremony And mentioned she still valued the chance to participate.

"Today, all the women involved with US 50 Ball Chain remain good friends, and it’s crucial to understand that meaningful friendships can be formed through volunteer work," she stated.

Nicola Turner, the CEO of the charity, stated that the exhibition shares narratives from volunteers, youths, and various local communities in the West Midlands about how the Games impacted their lives.

She stated, "The wonderful aspect of this legacy is that it has impacted 279 locations throughout the West Midlands."

The initiative includes a wishing book where community members can share their desires for the city’s future.
